“Despite the fairly challenging brief and tight schedule, Alex absolutely delivered for us. A highly accomplished composer with good humour, professionalism and charm. I highly recommend to anyone!”

Perfect Storm Studios is run by songwriter, composer, producer, mix engineer and multi-instrumentalist Al Wade (aka Alex Lindner), whose credits include writing for the BBC, Netflix, Amazon and Hulu, as well as commercial projects for brands including Mercedes, Ferrari & JCB.
Projects in the last year include writing and producing the theme song for BBC drama The Jetty (featuring Jenna Coleman and produced by Firebird Pictures), writing music for playwright/choreographer Seeta Patel and a series of commercial projects, alongside getting Spotify editorial picks for his production on multiple EPs for artists around the world, and releases under Let’s Play Dead as well as his own name too.
Al has worked with acclaimed names in the music industry, including well-known talents from Kasabian and Rudimental to up-and-coming indie acts like Ally Hills and Ewan J Phillips (see selected discography here).
Since a young age, Al played numerous instruments and had music scholarships through his education (following in the classical footsteps of his choir director Mum, and orchestra manager Dad); predictably he rebelled as a teenager as he discovered the deep well of emotions and creativity by artists still in the land of the living.
He went on to study Maths & Music at Edinburgh University, and has toured with orchestras and choirs as well as with bands and artists, all of it feeding into his rich sensibilities as a producer and composer. He’s passionate about blurring the lines between cinematic soundtrack orchestrations with the new wave of genres ripping through the pop and indie scenes right now.

Al has worked with acclaimed names in the music industry, including well-known talents from Kasabian and Rudimental to up-and-coming indie acts like Ally Hills and Ewan J Phillips (see selected discography here). Al studied Maths & Music at Edinburgh University, and his broad musical background of touring with orchestras and choirs as well as with blues, jazz and indie rock bands has informed his rich sensibilities as a producer and composer. He’s as adept at complex orchestrations with synths, sound FX and big drums as he is with the multiplicity of genres proliferating through the pop and indie scenes right now.
Through his artist releases Wade has won BBC radio play as well as extensive blog coverage. Tastemakers from BBC Introducing to The Huffington Post have described him as “a rare talent”, and have praised his ability to weave together his sprawling influences into an intoxicating world — blues & soul, synths & textures all meld around his lyrical “gift for painting a picture of love, lust and heartbreak with a certain raw feel of life”.
